The Fanfare Story

Teresa HaltonInspiration struck in 1991, when Teresa Halton, photographer, captured the idea of an exclusive group of the finest wedding vendors networking in mutual respect and collaboration. Sharing her idea of having the crème de la crème of wedding experts with only one professional in each category, Fanfare Weddings came into being.

The concept was simple: offer brides and grooms a more refined, civilized vendor experience with ample time to talk one-on-one with the finest wedding vendors to exchange ideas and information.

A New Direction in Wedding Solutions

Loud, crowded, impersonal wedding shows in hotels or convention centers were unproductive. Intimate, elegant and personally engaging vendor encounters were needed.

As Fanfare networking began to blossom and longstanding relationships bore trust and respect, seamless wedding collaborations were created. The group decided to join together, breaking away from the traditional wedding fairs to pioneer a totally new era of wedding planning events: The Fanfare Show.

Brides and Grooms are greeted by trumpet fanfares as they view the thrilling sites of venues like the Kohl Mansion, Ralston Hall, and Julia Morgan Ballroom resplendently decorated for a wedding. Serenaded by lilting harp music, couples casually stroll from vendor to vendor enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and luxe appointments of the wedding environment while sipping champagne and sampling delectable hors d'oeuvres and cakes. From the warm welcome of the Fanfare professionals sharing the newest trends and fashions to the cheers of the final twirls of the dance lesson, Fanfare guests find the ultimate, reassuring wedding planning solution. This unique creation of a real wedding environment combined with personal client care is the genius of Fanfare Weddings.
